Statement.AI — Privacy Policy

Last updated: June 2026

Statement.AI is built privacy-first. This policy explains, in plain language, what the app does and does not do with your information. The same text is available inside the app under Settings → About → Privacy policy.

What we collect

Nothing, ourselves. Statement.AI has no account, no sign-in, no advertising and no first-party analytics. We operate no server that receives or stores your data. The only third-party service we use is described under Subscriptions below, and it operates under its own privacy policy.

Where your data lives

Everything you add — bank/card statements, transactions, balances, budgets, savings goals, PINs and statement passwords — is stored only on your device. Statement PDFs are unlocked and read on your phone. Categorization and all insights are computed on-device by Statement.AI's built-in engine. No external AI service or API is used.

What leaves your device

In normal use, your financial data never leaves your device. The only network request the core app makes is to load the PDF-reading library (pdf.js) when you open a statement; that request contains no personal or financial data.

Permissions we request

Subscriptions

Statement.AI Premium is an auto-renewable subscription processed by Apple, with entitlement validation handled by RevenueCat. Payment is handled entirely by the App Store; we never see or store your card details. RevenueCat receives your purchase status tied to an anonymous, app-generated identifier — it is not linked to your real-world identity and is never used for tracking or advertising. Apple and RevenueCat process this purchase data under their own privacy policies.

Your controls

Children

Statement.AI is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect data from them.

Changes

We may update this policy; the "last updated" date will change and the in-app copy will be revised.
